Porto Editora Panels

From August 25, Ana Aragão's artwork welcomes visitors to the Porto Editora and Bertrands' space in the 92nd edition of the Lisbon Book Fair, through a large format composition that shapes the artist's literary imaginary throughout more than 200 m2.

This open-air work of art constitutes an inter-art homage, promoting the Portuguese language and culture, with themes and motifs alluding to literature. This graphic literary universe is multiplied in references to unavoidable authors (such as José Saramago, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen or Fernando Pessoa), characters, environments and quotes from books, which readers will be able to find throughout the large extension of the artistic creation.

Besides the 50 meters mural, Ana’s work is extended in panels at the entrances to Espaço Porto Editora | Bertrand Editora and unfolds in different decorative elements that will catch the attention of Lisbon Book Fair's visitors, in an edition that also celebrates the birth centenary of Nobel Literature Prize winner José Saramago, the 50 years of Assírio & Alvim's editorial activity and Álvaro Magalhães' 40 years of literary life.
