Ana Aragão receives Medal of the City

It was an honor to receive the Municipal Medal of the City of Oporto, intended to distinguish those who stand out for their merits and civic achievements. 

Ana´s work has been recognized internationally by its aesthetic quality, the constant reflection upon and depictions of cities and their limits, real or imagined. Oporto, the place where she was born and raised, never left her mind as she drew the world around her. This medal comes with pleasure and pride- but also responsibility.
