Visit of Japanese Ambassador

The atelier had the honor to receive Portugal´s Japanese Ambassador Mr Ota Makoto , as well as his visit to the Underdogs Gallery in Lisbon where Monopolis was taking place. 

Besides sharing her work and plans for the future, Ana had the opportunity to talk about her history with the land of the rising sun- a series of coincidences and happy moments that culminated in her solo exhibition in Tokyo last year, in the Gallery designed by Fumihiko Maki. 480 years of shared history and culture to reflect upon, a solid foundation of friendship, respect and, above all, an indescribable fascination with a country that inspires and will continue to inspire all her drawings: the connection to Japan is strong and enduring.
